A Little Bit About Me
From a young age, I was always passionate about designing and building eCommerce stores. This naturally led to me wanting to push beyond CMS limitations and start to self-learn Javascript to develop mobile and web applications. To further sharpen my knowledge of coding, I then decided to enrol in a software engineering bootcamp to build a strong foundation in front-end and back-end development. Present day, I’m working as a freelance developer. Although this field is different from my previous career in the Plumbing, Heating, and Energy Industry, I find it incredibly rewarding and enjoyable. I wake up every day excited to tackle new, ambitious and innovative projects.

Technical Skills
I’m a JavaScript developer with a focus on React, React Native, and Node.js, building both web and mobile applications. I’m comfortable working across the full stack—whether it’s setting up databases with Firebase, or handling the front-end with React and React Native. A big win for me is successfully deploying apps to both the App Store and Google Play, including my latest solo project, TAtodo. I follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices using Jest and Supertest and stick to Agile methodologies like SCRUM. I also have a solid grasp of UX/UI design principles, from sketching out ideas to building interactive prototypes in Eraser.
